The cat ate my donut

Hey, hope everyone is doing well. My mom came for a short visit, it was cut short because of a snow storm we had here. When she came down we went to an Eastern European deli. Anyway she bought some expensive donuts. Polish Paczki, they are only made at certain times of the year. My mom gave me one and I left it on the dining room table wrapped up. When I went out our cat Harley ate the whole thing! He is such a piggy!

I bought a bunch of different flavored hot chocolate mixes for the kids and one of them is Rich Chocolate. Geneva was having a cup of it and asked if she would have more money if she drank it. We are plugging away in school again we had a big break in January. Rexford really enjoys his job he has taken on the responsibility of work and school pretty well.

We had a snow day on Sunday. We read 2 sermons out of Untied Knots by J.C Ryle. Private Judgment and Pharisees & Sadducees. Mr. Ryle is so plain spoken. It was so good and God and His Word were truly held up high. I don’t think we will read any of his sermons on baptism thoughJ I have also gotten to listen to a couple sermons from sermon audio.com lately. Imprecatory PrayerPastor George McDearmon • 66 min is Psalm 69:1-6 • Reformed Baptist Church
This is one of them and the others are from Jim Savastio. Any sermons from these guys are a good choice. What wonderful resources we have now! The kids had a couple of church services of their own throughout the day. One person is the piano player, one an usher, one person drives them to and from church, one of the boys reads a children’s sermon. We also played bible 20 questions. It was really fun

Rexford bought a Wii, I helped out a little bit but he paid for most of it. It is so fun, Rex’s friend came over a few weeks ago with one, I guess you could say it got us hooked. The great thing about it is, anyone can play. Geneva can bowl and so can an older person. When my mom came she played the bowling game and had a blast. And it actually keeps your body moving.

The kids tested in Feb. Geneva got her gold belt. One of the ladies from church came to watch her test. Geneva broke her board on the first kick….so cute. She has been watching tkd for such a long time, she makes up her own patterns and she incorporates higher moves from other patterns she has seen. Right now she is busy learning her new patterns still. Rexford, Ethan, Isaac and Danielle also tested, they have their provisional black belts now. I am so happy for them. They practiced a lot for their test. They had to read their black belt essays in front of everyone before testing started.
