Merry Christmas!

We had a Christmas party a couple weeks ago with the kids we teach taekwondo to. It was pretty fun and the parents there are so great. We got a couple of cool taekwondo Christmas tree ornaments also.

I turned another year older this month. Happy Birthday to me:) Danielle will be 10 this month! My brother and brother-in-law also have a birthday this month, even on the same day. Happy Birthday to you too! We came home the day before my birthday from a trip down south. While Rex and I were gone, the kids made me 2 birthday cakes. So sweet! I am not the only one eating them!...lol…Rexford went to the store and bought all the ingredients for the cakes. We are so proud of him and all the fruit we see in him. Praise God for His mercy and love!

Our trip down south was super sweet. The family we stayed with are such an excellent family. Their kids are so well mannered. We had a blast getting to know them better. We visited a church down there, they have a fellowship meal every Sunday and most people stay all afternoon at the church fellowshipping. We were there from 9:30 till around 4. Everyone had something spiritual to talk about.

We are deciding if we are going to move down there. We are praying for wisdom about this all. Rex has a great job opportunity there. We do need to make a decision soon though, it is weighing on Rex’s mind a lot. He is listening to a sermon series we listened to for family worship awhile ago on making decisions.

Looks like we might have a white Christmas here! My last day in the south, I spent sitting by a pool in 70 degree weather, which I love because I was raised in Virginia and it took my body about 5 years to get used to cold weather. I mean cold weather, not like here in Minnesota. We have not had a very cold winter here since we have lived here. If we move, I would definitely miss the snow though, it is so beautiful and clean. Rex and I have really appreciated our friends up here telling us they would miss us and trying to think of ways for us to stay up here. Faithful friends are such a blessing from the Lord!

Praise God for His Faithful Son Jesus Christ during this time of year and always Praise God! He is faithful in all ways!

Dec. Stuff

I am ready for Christmas break. I don’t have time to get some things finished! Geneva and I had physicals last week. She did really great for her flu shot and they took some blood for a lead test. When it was time for me to get a shot she covered her face with her hands and said,” I feel so sorry for you”. She is in the 95 percentile for her height and 50th for weight.
I am extremely behind on my holiday baking. Oh well I think I will take a couple days and do it all then instead of trying to spread it out. I do have Christmas cards ready to send out though, hopefully I will get them out this week:) Hoping for a white Christmas here!
