Lipstick

Geneva already likes to wear makeup:) Here she is putting on some of my lipstick.

Kick A-Thon

Lilly and Isaac entered our Tae Kwon Do school's Kick A-Thon. They both raised a good amount of money for the school. Lilly kicked 2004 times and Isaac kicked 1804 times. They had sore legs the next day! The school didn't have the furnace installed for the cold weather yet, so we were freezing counting them kick. The kids did a great job knocking on doors and talking about the Kick A-Thon with our neighbors. I guess next time the school is doing a Break A-Thon, now that sounds like fun!

I can't wait till I turn 18

Danielle has been saying lately,"I can't wait till I turn 18". My heart kind of stops every time she says it but she always has the same answer when I ask her why, "So I can vote of course". Whew!!! The kids have really been into this years' presidential election process. They watched the debates and the older kids are well informed on the issues, especially Rexford. Geneva has even learned to say, "Bush/Cheney". Don't forget to pray!!!
Geneva went to sleep with wet hair, this is what she looked like in the morning.

Geneva's 2nd Birthday!!

We also had Geneva's birthday in Sioux Falls. Geneva was so precious while opening her presents...she would unwrap her gifts and then make sure she displayed them for us to see.

Ethan wrapped Geneva's present to look like a pumpkin:)

Apple Orchard Field Trip

Last week we went on a field trip with our homeschool coop to an Apple Orchard/farm. The kids had a wonderful time, we each got to pick an ear of corn. Some purple, red and white. We need to dry them out and then we will be able to pop some corn:) There were many different animals on the farm for the kids to pet and goats to feed.

Lilly's 9th Birthday!!!!!!!!!

Well, we celebrated Lilly's birthday in Sioux Falls, SD with Grammy and Grandpa Frank. Lilly got her ears pierced and went to GiggleBee's (something like Chuckie Cheese). Lilly wanted pie instead of cake for her birthday, so Grammy made 6 pies. We really didn't have much leftover. I can hardly believe my first baby girl will be in double digits next year. God is so merciful and kind to us!

This is the shirt I had made for Lilly. We noticed we couldn't find anything with her name on it when we shopped for personalized items. Lilly has a monthly "Silly Lilly Show"
